Ingredients:
1.5 lbs steak cut into strips
1 each: red, green, and yellow bell peppers, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups beef broth (or 1 cup if thicker sauce preferred)
3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch (mixed with 3 tablespoons water)
2 tablespoons olive oil (or your seasoned oil!)
Salt and pepper to taste
Roasted Garlic and Onion Seasoning
Cooked white rice, for serving
Instructions:
Prep the Steak: Season your steak strips with a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
Sauté Veggies: In a skillet, add a tablespoon of Roasted Garlic olive oil. Toss in the sliced bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Sauté until they are slightly tender but still vibrant
Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and Roast Garlic and Onion Seasoning. Let sear until browned. Make the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Thicken It: Add your cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) into the skillet, stirring continuously. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens to your liking.
Combine: Stir everything together and let the steak finish cooking in the sauce for a few minutes.
Serve: Plate it over a bed of white rice. Enjoy the savory goodness!
